My wife Elizabeth and I are passionate about discipleship, cross-cultural mission, and God's Word; and for these reasons, we are glad to be back at IHI after 23 years away. I graduated from Tulane Med School, where I also completed an MPH in Tropical Medicine, then residency at IHI in 2002. Thereafter, we served in rural Colorado, East Africa for eight years, and then back to rural Colorado. I have found myself practicing surgical OB, neonatal care, and Tropical Medicine in resource-limited settings for most of my career, so these are my areas of interest in medicine. We have nine children, three of which came into our family during residency, and four of which are still living at home. We enjoy studying God's Word, hospitality, running, and playing music.
