As an Army brat, I grew up in Hawaii, Maryland, and Colorado before moving to Oklahoma to attend the University of Tulsa and then OSU for medical school. The Lord took hold of my life when I was in high school, but he did a lot of growing me up in the faith in college. During that time, I studied abroad in Thailand, where God revealed to me the need for cross-cultural gospel workers; I met IHI residents through church who lit a fire in me to practice whole-person medicine with a missional mindset; and I met my now-husband Joshua! Outside of medicine, you can find me at the rock-climbing gym, serving at church, exploring Tulsa, or embarking on various DIY adventures.
