Matt Haney, DO

I was born and raised in rural Oklahoma and attended undergrad at Oklahoma State University. My path into medicine was convoluted, but God eventually led me to OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and then to IHI, where I served as a Chief Resident and graduated in 2019— practicing full spectrum family medicine as IHI faculty since that time and now serving as Director for the IHI Global Health Fellowship.

Medical education and global medical missions are my passions and I am blessed to work at IHI where the pursuit of these passions intersect and I have the opportunity to train and cultivate incredible Jesus-loving people to use their medical skills to love people well, both domestically and abroad. My wife Lindsay shares this heart for the nations and works developing underserved international communities. Favorite Things: being a girl-dad to three daughters, disc golf, OSU wrestling, learning to cook international foods, and aspiring to learn violin (someday).
